Ingrédients :
- 200g dark chocolate
- 200g raw (or cooked) beetroot
- 3 eggs
- 80g brown sugar
- 80g flour
- 1/2 sachet baking powder
- 40g butter
- 1 pinch of salt
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 5). Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie. Remove from the heat and add the butter. Mix well.
- Beat the eggs and brown sugar in a bowl, then add the sifted flour and baking powder. Mix until smooth.
- Add the chocolate and mix again.
- Grate the beetroot (or purée if cooked) and add to the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a tin and bake for 45 minutes.
- Ready to serve
